Climb For Animals Eggs: How to Place Animals at Your Base
Bring your egg back to the base, hatch it and put the animal in to start earning Cash in Climb For Animals Eggs — plus how to confirm the placement worked.
An animal in Climb For Animals Eggs only starts earning once it is placed at your base. The route from hatched pet to income is short: bring the egg down to your own base, set it there and let its hatch timer run, open the egg, then put the animal in at the base. Once it lands, it takes a visible park spot, shows a production value, and your Cash starts rising on its own — the whole loop if you need it from the top is covered in the beginner guide.
How to place an animal at your base
-
Bring the egg to your own base. Grab an egg while you are up on the towers — the egg locations page lists where they spawn — then jump down toward your house. Every player has their own house-shaped base on the map, and it is easy to dive into someone else's by mistake: in one recorded run, a player jumped from a great height, landed in a stranger's home, and had to reorient before setting his egg down. Your base is a clear landmark from the air, so aim your jump at your own house.
-
Set the egg down inside and wait for the countdown. A timer appears as soon as the egg sits at your base. It scales with the egg's tier: in an early-game session, the player's first egg showed 2 minutes and later eggs opened after 30, 20 and 40 seconds, while a late-game run showed high-tier eggs anywhere from about 15–20 minutes up to 8 hours or more. Use the wait to train Speed on the treadmill, exactly like the player in that first session.
-
Hatch it when the timer ends. The game shows an on-screen hatch prompt when the egg is ready — "press hatch right here," as one player narrated — and the animal appears. More detail on timers and what affects them is on the how to hatch eggs page.
-
Put the animal in at your base. This is the placement step itself, and the game treats it as its own action after hatching: the official how-to-play list reads "Place your Animals at your base to earn Cash" as a separate line from finding and hatching Eggs. In the gameplay runs that show the route end to end, an explicit put-in action followed every hatch — a gorilla, a fox, a lava dragon and a Pegasus were each placed one after another — so do not assume the hatch places the animal for you. Put the hatched animal into an open spot at your base.
How to tell the placement worked
- The animal occupies a visible park spot. Placed animals fill real space at your base — one player complained that his newly placed fox's tail was "taking up my park space."
- A production value appears on the animal. A placed lava dragon was shown "producing 59 coins," an early-session fish showed around 900, and a late-run Pegasus showed 120B. These are snapshots from single sessions of particular animals and egg tiers, not rates — the official text calls the currency Cash, and the amounts clearly scale with progression.
- Your Cash climbs without further input. After a batch of placements, one player pointed at his balance building fast while he kept playing.
- Offline earning is promised. The game's own description says animals at your base "keep earning Cash while you're offline."
If there is no room at your base
A fresh base holds only a handful of animals, and large animals eat into that space quickly. When the park is full, placement stops working until you expand — in one run, a player's house "got full" and he had to upgrade it before he could place anything else. Expansion is the official fix ("Expand your base to hold even more Animals"); what the upgrade costs and how it works is covered in how to expand base.
With your first animal in and Cash flowing, the loop repeats: climb for more eggs, hatch them, place them, and reinvest in income upgrades and base space. See animal income for how placed animals drive your earnings, or how to get cash fast if you want the next placement funded sooner.
